Beautiful handling is ingrained in every BMW; it is part of the
brand's DNA. Additionally, this applies to SUVs as well as cars.
The original X5 M, one of the sportiest SUVs available, was
produced by BMW's M division in 2009 to boost the ante.
Because of how it looks and drives, the X5 M is a car that will
adorn a 50 crore automobile collection.
In reality, all it takes is a quick glance. You can see right away
that this X5 is the most potent model. There are many
indicators, including the glossy black M grille with the double
bars, the curves of the front apron, and the M gills on the side.
The X5 M's interior features M-specific seats with a quilted
pattern and an instrument cluster that provides extra
information.
The X5 M's interior is superbly finished and equipped with a
wide range of attractive amenities. Behind its leather-wrapped
steering wheel, which also houses a set of paddle shifters and
red "M" drive-mode buttons, is a 12.3-inch completely digital
gauge cluster. Standard features include heated front armrests,
an expansive head-up display, ambient inside lighting, and racy
materials.
In the X5 M Competition model, the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8
produces 625 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque from a
relatively early point in the powerband. The engine starts, and
the exhaust pipes emit a deep grumble. Push the gas foot all the
way down, and you'll be pushed forcefully in the back while the
speedometer needle rises like in a sports vehicle. In fact, the
power delivery is so smooth that there is only one huge linear
wave of torque from the beginning to the very high redline of
7,200 rpm.
